Creating a Vibrant Green Building

The MA Building Mita embodies care for people and the environment with its rooftop garden and wall greening produced by Hibiya-Kadan Floral Co., Ltd. The rooftop garden also serves as a gathering spot for wild birds and other creatures living in the city.

Building Development One Step Ahead

Since its planning stage, the MA Building Mita has adopted various energy-saving measures, including energy-efficient air conditioners. In June 2023, the building obtained the “ZEB Ready” certification, one of the four levels of the ZEB* series promoted by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment. Other building features include an elevator capable of accommodating a stretcher, barrier-free facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations (planned), all of which aim to make the building friendly to both people and the environment.

100% Powered by Renewable Electricity

We have adopted the “Premium Zero Plan” provided by Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., and 100% of our electricity consumption comes renewable sources.* As all electricity consumption is drawn from renewable energy sources, the building has practically zero carbon dioxide emissions.

*100% renewable energy, including FIT electricity, paired with non-fossil fuel energy certificates with tracking information. *Some properties have not adopted these measures.
