Mita Kosan is an official sponsor of the Yokohama Keio Challenger International Tennis Tournament, the second largest ATP Challenger Tour tennis tournament in Japan, which is held in November every year.

Born in Tokyo in 1952. Real name: Seiichiro Todo
Studied Tokiwazu-bushi under his father, Tokiwazu Mojizo I, as well as Tokiwazu Mojibee IV and Tokiwazu Kikusaburō
Studied Nagauta Shamisen under Yoshiko Tajima and Nagauta under Ken Minagawa
Withdrew from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music
Studied musicology under Fumio Koizumi and studied Itchu-bushi under Miyako Itchu XI
- 1981: Assumed the name Tokiwazu Mojizo II
- 1985: Received first Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Award
- 1986: Promoted to principal shamisen player of Tokiwazu-bushi at the Kabuki-za Theater
- 1990: Received Seieikai Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Encouragement Award
- 1991: Assumed the name Miyako Itchu XII and succeeded to head of the Itchu-bushi school
- 1999: Recognized as a Holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property for Itchu-bushi (General Certification)
- 2008: Recognized as a Holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property for Tokiwazu-bushi (General Certification)
- 2014: Awarded Japan Art Academy Prize
Contributing to Local Community Associations
Mita Kosan is a member of the Mita Shopping District Promotion Association and sponsors the annual Mita Noryo Carnival. We will continue to contribute to our hometown Mita in Minato-ku, collaborating with local residents through the following neighborhood associations.

We support the Global Passport Program (GPP), a specialized international program run by the Faculty of Com-merce at Keio University, and the Keio CEMS MIM Programme, a world-class international MBA program where only one school per country is allowed to join.
Contribution to Local Medical Institutions
As a Green Official Sponsor of both Saiseikai Central Hospital Tokyo and Keio University Hospital, we contribute to the greening initiatives of both institutions.
Contribution to Local Cultural Activities
We contribute to the All Keio Shogi Society, a shogi research group run by current and former students of Keio University, and plan to continue contributing to community-based cultural activities.
