Privacy Policy / Personal Information Protection Policy

Fully aware of its social mission, Mita Kosan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “we” or “the Company”) protects all of the personal information it handles, and complies with laws and regulations concerning the protection of the rights of individuals and personal information.
We hereby declare that the Company has established a personal information protection management system to realize the following policy, and are making company-wide efforts for continuous management system improvement, while keeping abreast of the latest trends in IT technology, evolving social demands, and changes in the business environment.

  1. 1. When handling personal information in our real estate leasing business, workforce hiring, personnel management, and other operations, we acquire, use, and provide such information in an appropriate manner, and do not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use. In addition, the Company takes measures to achieve these goals.
  2. 2. We comply with laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information.
  3. 3. To address the risk of leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, we persistently improve our personal information security system by incorporating management resources that address our actual business circumstances, applying sound security measures to prevent the realization of such risks. In the unlikely event of a failure in this regard, we will promptly take corrective measures.
  4. 4. We respond promptly and sincerely to complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information.
  5. 5. The personal information protection management system is reviewed in a timely and appropriate manner in light of changes in the business environment and the actual conditions of our company, and improved on an ongoing basis. This policy is distributed to all employees to make them aware of it, and is made available to anyone at any time by posting it on the Company's website, issuing pamphlets, etc.
  6. 6. We do not provide personal information to third parties except when we have obtained the consent of the individual concerned, when required by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations, or in any of the following cases.
  • - When we outsource all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve its purpose of use
  • - When personal information is provided as part of a succession of business due to a merger or the like
  • - When cooperating with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to perform a duty prescribed in legislation, and obtaining the consent of the individual concerned could impede the performance of such duty.
  • - Other cases required under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations: We do not provide personal information to an overseas third party unless we have received permission from the person concerned or the Act on the Protection of Personal Information obliges us to do so.

Please contact the Personal Information Complaints and Consultation Desk (see below) regarding the purpose of use of all personal information subject to disclosure (retained personal data), the procedure for requesting disclosure, etc., and the publication of matters regarding personal information that is subject to disclosure. We will respond without delay.
